Founder Marcel H Albury
Opened for business on Christie Street on May 26 1955 in a 250 sq.ft building, after six months on Oct 18, 1955 moved to a large facility of 600 sq.ft on Bay Street. On Oct 1 1956 we moved again into much larger building of 5225 sq.ft having 1250 sq.ft display area with 3690 sq.ft warehouse with two offices plus an additional 720 sq.ft warehouse facility at a nearby location.
On July 26 1970 we moved into our current facility (while still under construction) on 124 Mackey Street, this business area of Mackey Street has developed into excellent business location. In 1970 we had 20,000 sq.ft of floor space with an additional area of 3,540 sq.ft on a second floor, later on we added a mezzanine of 9,793 sq.ft for more storage. Later in May 1993 an addition was constructed to the front of the building of 2472 sq.ft. Our parking facility accommodates 30 vehicles.
In February 1992 a computer system was installed fully operational by June 1992. A few of years later (1998) an electronic parts cataloging system was installed and put into service following a complete inventory stock staking. We are constantly up dating our
inventories to customer demands and unusual requests.
The company is privately owned and operated.
